Hop Against Homophobia!

Wipeout Homophobia!

Hello! Welcome to Lori's post on the
2012 Hop Against Homophobia!

Hate is horrible.
Hate doesn't have a place here.
Homophobia is hate.

But on a more serious note, setting a good example for others is the best way to combat homophobia and hate. If you see someone doing something hateful of any kind, step in and do something about it. It's our duty as human beings to help others.

Love is awesome :)

It's as simple as that! :D

My prize I'm giving away:

I thinks it's important to set a good example and to show that homophobia and discrimination of any kind is wrong.

  4. I'd like to think I'd step in but you know, it's not as easy as that. Not in person anyway. You can sometimes make matters worse. But blogging on this special day - goes a little way to showing support for those who are discriminated against.

  30. thanks for your post. I decided this year that it was important to start teaching the kids in our family the importance of not being a bully and standing up to a bully that is picking on someone else. It took a long time to get through to them how little things are wrong. Every time they would say something that is mean I would counter with how it would sound if it were directed at them. I can't tell you how happy I was when I heard my nephew for the first time turn and tell his friend that his comment was wrong and mean. It is every single persons place and responsiblity to stand up and speak out! Thanks for participating
